Day 1: History of Barcelona

Discovery with a local guide ofGothic Quarter of Barcelona, Barric Gotic. Located on the site of the old Roman city and rebuilt in the Middle Ages, it bears witness to its glorious past, alongside monuments from the 90s. Narrow streets, squares (Sant Jaume, Reial), the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Mar with its cloister… make the charm of this very visited district.Visit to the History Museum of Catalonia, from prehistory to the civil war, we visit this museum thanks to skilful reconstructions of scenes from historical events or simply from everyday life.

Day 2: Gaudi Circuit

Breakfast at the hotel. Visit of the Sagrada Familia, consecrated in 2010 by Pope Benedict XVI, it has also received the adjective expiatory since its beginnings in 1882 because its construction was made possible thanks to donations. Part on a neo-Gothic style project, it takes a change of course when the architect Antoni Gaudi takes over the project. Discovery of houses of Passeig de Gràcia, open-air museum on modernist architecture, part of the World Heritage, one of the most beautiful avenues in the world. Former residential area of the Haute Bourgeoisie Catalane. Visit of the Casa Milà known as la Pedrera, splendid building built on Passeig de Gracià. Visit of Park Güell. In a property in Muntanya Pelada, Eusebi Güell wanted to build an urban complex inspired by the concept of the villa-garden.

Journée 3: Barcelone, une ville portuaire

Petit-déjeuner à l’hôtel. Visite du musée maritime de Barcelone, il est situé dans les anciens chantiers navals royaux de Drassanes. Il retrace la longue histoire de Barcelone avec la mer, on peut y voir toutes sortes d’instruments de navigation, avec des explications interactives et audiovisuelles. Les collections réunissent les témoignages matériels d’une longue tradition culturelle liée à la mer et qui ont perduré au long de l'histoire Catalane. Visite du port en golondrinas, une autre manière de découvrir le port et le littoral de Barcelone. Cette visite maritime permet d’observer des lieux les plus connus et les plus représentatif du port, tels WTC Barcelona, le pont Puerta de Europa, la Gare Maritime internationale, le port de Pêche et la Tour de l’horloge. (Environ 50 minutes).
