Day 1: Béziers and Valmagne

Guided tour of old Béziers. A visit to the Arena and the old center for the continuation of the guided tour with the Cathedral of St Nazaire, the Church of Saint Madeleine, the old alleys, its buildings, the covered markets… all with stories and anecdotes. Direction Valmagne for the visit of its Abbey and its wine estate. Lunch.

Day 2: Nature and Canal du Midi

Breakfast. Leave for the Locksby Fonseranes about 6 km from Béziers for a 2 hour guided tour. This structure, the construction of which lasted 2 years between 1678 and 1680, is in fact a single lock with 8 basins and 9 gates, 312 m long and 21.5 m in height, between the top of the locks (in front of the Coche d'Eau-Maison du Site) and the level of the Orb, where the Canal du Midi initially flowed. Afternoon. Return to the port of Colombiers 5 km from Fonseranes to embark on a barge from the Midi and experience a cruise on the Canal du Midi with commentaries owners of the barge. Day 3: Sérignan, Art and Nature les Orpellières

Breakfast. Leave for Serignan, a city that has managed to preserve its authenticity and in particular its coastline. Visit of the Museum of Contemporary Art, a dynamic place that offers national and international exhibitions. Afternoon. Discovery of a protected natural site Les Orpellières. An area Natura 2000 classified. Acquired by the Conservatoire du Littoral in 1980, this 150 hectare estate consists of a dune cordon, a vast area of salt meadow and old farm buildings. The domain of Orpellières ('' Orb pelé '') is the only coastal area preserved in its natural state in the region. It was the subject of an experimental research program in the preservation of dunes, in particular through the use of ganivelles.
