Day 1: Verdun

A day dedicated to the discovery of the most famous sites of the greatest battle in contemporary history.The circuit includes the interior visit of the main sites and museums of the City and the Battlefield:Museum of the Battle of Verdun Memorial andthe Fort de Vaux or the Fort de Douaumont. Ossuary of Douaumont (with screening of the film) and the national cemetery -Destroyed village of Fleury in front of Douaumont, one of the 9 villages in the red zone
After the visits, direction your accommodation center.

Day 2: Fort de Mutzig-Struthof - Marckolsheim

Breakfast . Guided tour of Fort Mutzig, a giant in Alsace. Built by the German Empire from 1893 in anticipation of the First World War, the Fort de Mutzig is the site of all superlatives. Through galleries, troops' rooms, kitchens, an electrical plant, but also trenches, observatories and artillery batteries, you will discover an unexpected fortification and an exceptional natural site. Direction the Struthof site for a guided tour of the European center for deported resistance fighters. Built from 1941 for the operation of a stone quarry, the Struthof camp is the only Nazi concentration camp in Alsace. Used as slave laborers, some deportees were also the object of appalling. Then direction Marckolsheim, for the guided tour of the “peasant city” a Nazi utopia. During the fighting of June 1940, the city of Marckolsheim was destroyed 80%. A boon for the Nazi planners, who took advantage of the reconstruction to build an entire district made up of "hereditary farms" intended for the peasant-lords of the "1000-year-old Reich".

Journée 3 : Strasbourg

Petit-déjeuner. Direction Strasbourg pour une visite guidée de la ville, sur le thème des années noires 39/45 .Tour à tour vidée de ses habitants, annexée au IIIe Reich, nazifiée, bombardée, libérée, Strasbourg est le symbole de l’Alsace durant la Seconde Guerre mondiale. Le temps d’une visite guidée, plongez dans une période sombre de l’histoire de la ville !  Puis direction le Parlement européen. Strasbourg, ancien foyer de tensions dans une histoire tumultueuse, occupe une place toute particulière dans la mémoire européenne: cette cité historique qui a vu s’affronter les empires, est aujourd’hui un lieu de coopération entre Européens. Visiter l’hémicycle est un excellent moyen de s’imprégner de l’ambiance qui règne dans le plus grand parlement transnational au monde et de se familiariser avec ses pouvoirs et sa mission.

The course of our circuits is given as an indication. Our programs are subject to modification due to imperatives beyond our control such as flight rotations, market days, boat schedules, change of schedule of entrances to sites, imposed reservation schedules, etc. However, the services provided will be respected, except in cases of force majeure.
